Check the state of your whole fleet.
Fines, road tax debt and expiries, vehicle by vehicle, on a single screen. You load the plates once and Baliza does the rest: it checks on its own, gathers the results and tells you when something changes. Nothing to click.
- Fines and offences
- Road tax
- Deadlines and enforcement
- What is new since the last check
- Who had the vehicle that day
One plate can owe in more than one place. Baliza searches every jurisdiction that applies to each vehicle, not just the one you remember. And if a check could not be made, it tells you: “not checked” is never shown as “no debt”.
Everything your fleet owes,
sorted by what's urgent.
Not another dashboard to stare at: it is the answer, already worked out. What falls due first on top, what appeared since last time flagged, and every unit with its keeper.
- Without opening a portal or asking anyone for the data.
- New items kept apart from what you already knew.
- Every amount with its receipt and payment link.
Know what each
vehicle owes.
Baliza turns scattered checks into a simple list: what is up to date, what changed and what needs attention.
- Spot what is new.It compares each check with the previous one and flags what changed.
- Do not lose discounts. It warns you before the discount window closes.
- Pay without the runaround. The ticket's official receipt and the authority's own payment link, where it publishes one.
- Tell debt from mistakes.Status per ticket, team notes and appeals to whoever decides.
- Know whose it was.Every ticket lands on whoever had the vehicle on the day of the offence.
- Arrive prepared.Clearance, history and exports for audits or transfers.
What Baliza does
for your fleet.
Six jobs that today cost you hours of portals, spreadsheets and emails. We show them working on your own fleet in a private demo.
Fines and road tax for the same vehicle in one operation, with the right authority according to where each unit is taxed.
- Fines and road tax together
- Routing by place of registration
- Scheduled or on-demand runs
Where the authority publishes it, Baliza brings you each ticket's official receipt and the portal's own payment link. No need to hunt them down one by one.
- Official receipt per ticket
- The authority's payment link
- Clearance certificates
The full detail each jurisdiction reports —place, rule, court, deadline and status— plus what your team did with that ticket.
- Everything the authority publishes
- Status, notes and people in charge
- Appeals to the company
You choose what each person does —fleet manager, operator, keeper, administration— and Baliza gives them what they need. The menu is ordered by their job, and so is the initial walkthrough.
- A role, not a list of permissions
- The company adds its own team
- The menu is built around what each one does
Each vehicle can have a driver or a contract with start and end dates. When a ticket appears, Baliza charges it to whoever had the vehicle that day: no reconstructing it by hand afterwards.
- Driver or contract with a term
- Charged by the date of the offence
- The month grouped for rebilling
You paste a list of plates —in your fleet list or not— and they are checked in a batch while you carry on working. Each check leaves a receipt of what was asked, when, and what each authority answered, including those that did not.
- Batch check
- Check receipt as PDF
- API that triggers the check
We show the detail of how Baliza works inside in a demo under a confidentiality agreement.
And when what fails
is not the debt.
A vehicle also stops for an expired roadworthiness test, a service nobody scheduled or a policy that lapsed on Tuesday. That is switched on separately, when you need it: it does not come on, and it does not change your screen if you do not buy it.
Roadworthiness, policy, registrations, permits and driving licences, with the same early warning you use for debt. Renewing is one button: Baliza works out the new date.
The pre-trip check from your phone. Everything is assumed fine and you only tick what is wrong; if a critical item fails, the vehicle is rejected automatically.
You set the plan once —every 10,000 km or every six months— and the jobs open by themselves when due. The mileage comes from inspections and fuel-ups.
You import the fuel card statement and out comes the economy per vehicle. Without mileage it reports the spend, never an invented consumption.
Every tyre with its service life, its rotations and its retreads. The kilometres come from the vehicle's odometer: nothing entered by hand.
Stock with a minimum per item, and each issue charged to the work order, so the service cost is complete.
Fuel, maintenance, paperwork and fines on a single line per vehicle. The order of magnitude you need to decide which one to replace.
Instead of your ERP polling now and then, Baliza tells it —signed— when a fine appears, a document expires or an inspection is rejected.
Rate, included mileage and excess price. Handover and return sit side by side with their photos, and the customer's signature stops counting if you change a term afterwards.
Purchase value, service life and residual: the cost that shows up on no invoice and makes an old vehicle look cheap precisely when it is not.
All of this rests on something that asks no new work of you: the fleet list you already loaded. The day a module needs someone to enter something every day to make sense, you will not find that module here.
Who uses it
every day.
If your operation depends on vehicles —your own, other people's or your customers'— vehicle debt reaches you all the same. What changes is why you need to look at it.
Fleets crossing provinces every day, piling up tickets in jurisdictions nobody is watching.
The risk: finding out once the discount window has closed. Many light vehicles in urban areas, with high driver turnover and municipal traffic fines.
The risk: not being able to pin the fine on whoever was driving. The registered owner answers for offences committed by someone else, and they must be identified fast to be rebilled.
The risk: finding the debt once the contract is over.Checking a vehicle before taking it as a trade-in, and handing it over with no debt or surprises for the buyer.
The risk: buying a car with debt nobody spotted.Checks on behalf of third parties, all day long, on plates that are not their own and change every day.
The risk: losing hours repeating the same check on every portal.Utilities, telecoms, maintenance: vehicles assigned to crews, with keepers rotating by area.
The risk: the alert never reaching whoever has the vehicle.Trucks and vans registered in one province that drive through several, in seasons of a few months.
The risk: debt scattered across jurisdictions nobody checks.Buses, corporate and school transport, where a grounded vehicle leaves a service uncovered.
The risk: an unpaid fine blocking the permit.Checking a vehicle's status when quoting, underwriting and handling claims.
The risk: insuring without knowing the vehicle's history.Municipal, utility and cooperative fleets that need documentary backing for every check.
The risk: not being able to prove what was checked and when.Yours not here? If you manage vehicles, it probably fits.
Tell us about your operation →What it costs
to find out late.
A fine paid within the discount window costs about half. After that date you pay it in full —and with interest if it escalates. Move your fleet size and watch the numbers.
What assumptions this calculation uses
- 3 fines a year per 10 vehicles. It varies hugely with the operation: in urban last mile it is a good deal more.
- $ 180,000 average fine within the discount window.
- Double once the window has closed. Most jurisdictions discount around 50% for early payment.
- 1 in 3 is missed windows when nobody is watching every day.
- 6 minutes per vehicle to check its jurisdictions by hand, once a month.
These are assumptions, not a promise: swap the numbers for yours in the demo and we will run the figures on your data.
Fewer portals.
Fewer spreadsheets.
Fewer surprises.
In the same operation, routed by where the vehicle is registered.
The ones the authority issues, without going back into every portal.
New items, approaching deadlines and amounts above your threshold.
Data ready for finance, legal, agencies or BI.
Everyone sees and works only the vehicles in their care.
What stops appearing is closed without erasing its trail.
A list of plates is checked in a batch, without adding them to the fleet list.
The PDF proving what was checked, when, and what each authority answered.
Fuel, servicing, paperwork, fines and depreciation on one line per vehicle.
One plate can owe
in more than one place.
National, provincial and municipal in a single run, without anyone opening a portal. And fleet management —register, keepers, contracts, documents and cost per unit— follows your vehicles across the Americas. If a check could not be made, it says so: “not checked” is never shown as “no debt”.
Before booking
a demo.
Does Baliza tell me where my vehicles are?+
No. Baliza is not GPS or telematics, and we will not sell you hardware. It can take mileage from the tracking system you already use, which is what mileage-based maintenance plans need.
Does Baliza replace fleet management software?+
It covers the modules that rest on data your operation already has: paperwork, inspections, maintenance, fuel, tyres and supplies. What you will not find is a module that only works if someone enters something every day. And unlike those products, you do not enter the fines: we go and find them on the official portals.
Do I have to buy the whole package?+
No. Each module is switched on separately and comes off. If you only want warnings about the roadworthiness test and the policy, that is what you pay for.
Does it pay the fines automatically?+
No. It detects, prioritises and documents. Integrated payment is not part of the current version.
What happens when a portal does not answer?+
The run records the problem and its cause. Baliza tells "no debt" apart from "could not be checked".
Can we import our current fleet list?+
Yes. You can upload a CSV or add plates by hand with tax ID, owner, ID number, place of registration and keeper.
How does it integrate with our systems?+
Through a REST API authenticated with revocable keys. It exposes fines, plates and history, tax IDs, KPIs and runs.
Can I download the fine's receipt?+
Where the authority publishes it, yes: Baliza brings the ticket's official document and the portal's own payment link. Where the jurisdiction does not offer it, we say there is no document instead of promising one.
Does everyone on the team see the whole fleet?+
No. Each keeper works the vehicles in their care and the company manages the whole. Permissions are set by licence and by user.
Can I check plates that are not in my fleet list?+
Yes. Paste the list and they are checked in a batch, without being added. That is what agencies and dealerships use to review many third-party vehicles. Each plate uses one check from your licence.
Is it good for rebilling the fine to the customer or the driver?+
Yes. You record who had each vehicle and since when —a driver, a rental contract— and every ticket lands on whoever had it on the day of the offence. Then you export the month grouped by customer or driver.
Is there a record that we checked?+
Yes: a PDF per check with the date, the sources that answered and those that did not. Good for audits, accountability and case files, where "could not be checked" must be documented just like the debt.
Can we trigger a check from our own system?+
Yes. Besides reading data, the API accepts verification requests: your system asks for the check and gets the result when it finishes. Good for putting Baliza inside a vehicle onboarding or a quote, without anyone opening the panel.
Is it good for rental, renting or leasing?+
Yes. Each contract carries a rate, included mileage and excess price, and the settlement is worked out from the handover and return inspection mileage. Those two sit side by side with their photos, and above we tell you what was fine at handover and came back damaged. What we do not do is bookings or counter pricing: we are not a rent-a-car system.
Is the customer's signature valid?+
It is an electronic signature, not a digital signature: you get the stroke, the date, who signed, their ID and a fingerprint of the signed content. If you later change a contract term, the fingerprint stops matching and the screen says so. Argentine law reserves "digital signature" for one using a certificate from a licensed authority, and we are not going to call this that.
How is the service charged?+
By licence, with clear caps: number of vehicles in the fleet list, number of checks per month, or both. You know what you will pay before you use it.
Do you show the application before we buy?+
Yes, in a private demo on your own fleet. We do not publish product screenshots.
Add the plates.
Baliza does the rest.
Tell us how many vehicles you manage and we will show you fines, road tax and updates in a real demo.
